Firm Profile and Philosophy
LandSource, Inc. was established in January 1996, but has been
providing surveying and wetland services since 1985 through its past affiliations.
LandSource provides comprehensive surveying services, specializing in property boundary
surveys, topographic surveys, accident site surveys, resubdivision of properties, and
as-built surveys. We also prepare no-work affidavits, elevation certificates, legal
descriptions for land acquisitions, and have expertise in wetland delineating and
permitting. But most importantly, LandSource only provides services that are sure to be
delivered on time and on budget.
LandSource is complete with a professional staff of 20* Surveyors, Land Surveyors in
Training, CADD Technicians, Survey Crews, and Administrative Personnel. Together
LandSource employees bring with them over 100 years of land surveying experience to the
firm and have the knowledge and expertise to operate the most advanced survey instruments
available.

Specialized Experience & Project
Knowledge
LandSource has successfully provided all types of land surveys for many
assignments varying in size and scope. These site surveys have included special services
such as site lines, three-dimensional modeling, and development of exhibits. We have
in-house GPS capabilities utilizing multiple Trimble R7 and Trimble R8 rovers, which is one of the
most advanced GPS instruments on the market. We also utilize state of the art
Lecia Robotic Total Stations for much of our work. We at LandSource firmly believe
that our unqiue combination of state of the art equipment and highly trained, dedicated
and experienced staff is what sets us apart from our competition.

Experience:
Mr. Patterson is president of LandSource, Inc. and has managed the
operations of the company through its affiliates since 1992. He has served as
professional-in-charge for all LandSource projects since the companys inception in January 1996. Prior to his appointment here, he accrued seven years of
experience performing topographic surveys, property boundary surveys, and right-of-way
maps of sites.
Projects have involved topographic surveys, cross sections, right-of-way maps, property
boundary surveys, as-built surveys, and resubdivisions of properties. In addition to his
extensive and varied survey experience, he has 10 years experience in preparing and
receiving approval from the Corps of Engineers for numerous wetland delineations and 404
permits, many of which included alternative sites and needs analysis.

Michael C. Pitre, C.S.T.

Experience:
As Field Coordinator for LandSource, Inc., Mr. Pitre has extensive
experience in performing boundary control, topographic, hydrographic, right-of-way, and
as-built surveys using both convention and G.P.S. techniques. He has performed this work
for municipal, commercial, industrial, and private clients throughout Louisiana and
Mississippi.
He has extensive experience in performing highly precise geodetic survey computation
utilized in G.P.S. surveys. His expertise in this area includes Static, RTK, and
DGPS techniques. His expertise encompasses numerous projects in both the on-shore
and off-shore environments.
Mr. Pitre has experience with automated data processing and has a
solid background in fieldwork, with six years as a party chief on various projects which
included six off-system bridge contracts.
He is responsible for the oversight and coordination of our
automated computer drafting systems, calibration and maintenance of survey equipment and
coordination of field party activities. |
